Donate and be part of the fight against criminal justice injustice.
The Stop Mass Incarceration Network, answering the call of Carl Dix and Cornel West, launched a campaign of non-violent civil disobedience to STOP stop-and-frisk in October 2011. While politicians speak out against this policy and lawsuits are filed, nothing is more crucial than people in the street calling attention to the injustice of stop-and-frisk. 83 people were arrested in three actions at NYPD precincts with high rates of illegal searches. 18 of them still face trials. Though we have 14 volunteer attorneys, defending the New Freedom Fighters is costing $10,000. Whether you can give $5 or $5000, you're an essential part of this movement.
